Hi Nick!


I am working with the optimizer and want to optimize with noise as a constraint. There for I need a correct noise spreading model. I have a short question. When is a new reliese coming up?  Will the octave band spreading noise model be fixed up then?

New release should be in a couple of weeks. I am not even sure that the noise model is wrong. We are testing it just now.


I thought it was wrong because I was not adding any A-weighting factors to the octave band spreading model. However, I have since seen turbine specs which give octave band A-weighted sound power levels and so the octave band spreading model should work fine for this kind of turbine spec.
