wind shear and turbulence at wind mast
Up to Feature Requests
Can Openwind perform:
1. shear analysis from a mast where wind speed data is available at several heights?
2. Turbulence analysis where a time-series of standard deviation of wind speed is available from a wind mast?
Clients want to be able to present information on wind shear and turbulence level to turbine suppliers, to provide comfort to the turbine suppliers that their site is within warranty limits.

Hi Demian,
The work I am doing just now on time series will pave the way for this development. I can see it happening later this year but feel free to remind me.
Cheers,
Nick
Time-series energy capture is in the Enterprise version but is still being validated so the functionality is not enabled just yet. It will be available at some point in the coming weeks. Also there is turbine scheduling now although this wont be functional until the time-series energy capture goes live.
Daniel, I can re-enable your enterprise trial whenever you have time to dedicate to this. I will let you know when the time-series functionality is enabled.
