Changing colors in zvi layer color scale

Posted by Giuseppe Manca at January 30. 2010

Hi,

is there a way to change colors in the color scale tab of the ZVI layer? I need to have a rainbow palette, but I want the color associated to the lowest values of the vertical subtended angle to be white.

Thanks a lot,

GM

Hi Guiseppe,

At present there is no way to make your own palette at present although its something I'd like to add when I get time (i.e. not likely in the very near future).

What you can do though is send me the colour scheme you'd like to see and if I like it I will add to the next version of openWind.

Another suggestion is this: on the Interpretation tab of the ZVI raster layer properties, set the value <=0.0 to transparent. That way, only areas with some visual impact will be shown.

Nick
