Turbines not in correct position in Google Earth

Posted by Madhu Lakshmanan at January 14. 2010

Hi,

I generated a turbine layout in Victoria using Openwind and then exported it as a KML. Unfortunately the KML always shows the turbines in the similar logitude by different latitude. The layout is for the sate of Victoria in Australia. When I look into the coordinates within the KML file, they are incorrectly transformed... I used the file in your tutorial (N America)... the export looked fine... Any ideas?
