Turbine Types

Posted by Tim Stevens at October 17. 2008

Hi

Every time I try to create a new turbine, OpenWind crashes.

I click 'new' and enter a few (or no) details then click save and the application crashes. I've tried entering varying ammounts of data and it still occurrs every time.

Anybody got any thoughts?

Cheers

Tim

Hi Tim,

I tried quickly but couldnt reproduce the crash. Could you please try again with the latest executable and let me know if its still happening?

Cheers,

Nick

Nick,

I downloaded the latest executable form the website this morning just to make sure but unfortunately the crash is still occurring. I've listed the button's I press to make it occur:
Launch openwind
settings=>turbine types=>new
enter a turbine name (and some details)
save
pick location/name
and then it crashes

Hope this was a bit more helpful
Cheers
Tim

It crashes for me too like Tim says.  I just always edited the turbine that was there and then saved it.
