New Version
Output to TAB file has been added to the time-series tab of the MetMastLayer properties.
As you will have noticed, most of our focus for the last little while has been on the Enterprise version. I like to update the community version to keep it inline with the Enterprise version. However, that often means only minor changes to the community version. For this reason, I will start to add the Enterprise updates to the release notes.
In the latest community version there is now output to WAsP TAB file. So long as you are using UTM projection then this output to geographic coordinates will work to within 1 meter accuracy. Also, the processing of turbulence intensity into a TI table is now greatly improved.
In the latest version of openWind Enterprise, I have added the ability to calculate a validity layer based on where turbines should not go to avoid shadow flicker at Environmental Sensors.
We are in the process of validating the time-series energy capture functionality and it will be activated in the Enterprise version very soon.
