Here are a selection of images of the software in action....
The image above shows a portion of the demo site which is located on the eastern shore of Lake Champlain. It shows a single site with constraints and using two met masts - each for a different portion of the site. As the optimizer moves turbines around the site, they calculate their energy capture using one or other of the met masts depending on what region of the site they are currently in.
This image shows a page from the Turbine Type Specifications dialog (accessed by clicking on Settings->Turbine Types). It shows the power curve page which can be used to enter a single power curve at a standard air density or a whole family of power curves.
If you input just one power curve you can choose to use the IEC method to adjust the power curve to the various air densities across your site.
If you input a family of power curves at various air densities then the software will interpolate between these power curves depending on the calculated air density at each turbine. You can still check the box to use the IEC method but this method will only be used to extrapolate power curves for turbines at air densities outside of the range that you have entered here.
