Contribute
Please see the developer forums for information on how to contribute or in which areas we are looking for help. Whilst we are very happy for you to assign copyright to us, contributions of code are generally accepted under one of the following two licenses. In this case you keep your copyright but we get to do what we need to do. We will of course never allow code from you to be incorporated into proprietary software without also including it in the open source version.
BSD License
The Berkeley software Distribution license is an academic license written by the University of Los Angeles at Berkeley in order to distribute their version of Unix.
MIT License
The MIT License is another academic license written by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
